I've written an article you may find of interest.

It's titled: How does salt restriction lead to heart disease and fear based reactionary thinking?

Dehydration or low salt/hyponatremia has a physiological effect on our mental health.

Low salt is a life threatening emergency. All emergencies are managed by the adrenals.

The adrenals bring FIGHT/FLIGHT/FREEZE in response to stress.

Chronic dehydration results from salt restriction, which leads to adrenal fatigue, we know it as Chronic fatigue.

It brings stress intolerance.

It creates mountains out of mole hills because the frontal cortex is out of reach.

It brings panic.

The remedy is hydration.

Hydration equals SALT plus water.

It's the salt that's allows the adrenals to rest and recoup.

SALT turns off the RAAS, the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone System.

It's time to throw off the salt demonisation myths and get salty.
